About UPPMAX
UPPMAX (Uppsala Multidisciplinary Center for Advanced Computational Science) is hosted by the Faculty of Science and Technology at Uppsala University, is organised administratively under the Department of Information Technology, and provides resources for the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS). Funding comes from NAISS, the Faculty of Science and Technology, and the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy.
UPPMAX also hosts the Support for Computational Resources unit of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS), which is the Bioinformatics platform of SciLifeLab. The unit contributes to and supports users of a high-quality digital research environment for medium- and large-scale bioinformatics analysis built on UPPMAX resources.
Active NAISS projects pursued at UPPMAX are listed on the SUPR pages listing Small, Medium, and Large SNIC projects, and the SENS projects pages.
